Cultural Bridges: Connecting Diverse Communities

Cultural Bridges is a European initiative designed to promote intercultural understanding, youth empowerment, and social inclusion across borders. Funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, the project focuses on supporting young people of African descent and other minority backgrounds living in Europe—specifically in Spain, France, and Poland—by creating spaces for expression, dialogue, and collaboration.

In a time of rising inequalities and persistent discrimination, Cultural Bridges offers an innovative platform for youth to explore their identities, share their experiences, and become active agents of change in their communities.

The project is built around three key pillars:

  • Intercultural Awareness: Encouraging participants to reflect on their own cultural heritage while learning from others, breaking stereotypes, and fostering mutual respect.

  • Youth Voice & Empowerment: Equipping young people with tools to express themselves, raise awareness, and take leadership in promoting inclusive values.

  • Transnational Collaboration: Connecting youth and organisations across Europe to exchange good practices, develop collective strategies, and work towards a more just and inclusive society.

Through local workshops, international youth exchanges, and awareness campaigns, Cultural Bridges contributes to building a Europe where diversity is embraced and every young person feels seen, heard, and valued.

The project is coordinated by Associació Juvenil Ndiatiguia (Spain) in partnership with UGPA Polska (Poland) and Un Geste Pour l’Avenir (France).
